Safety Procedures
SF Studios takes the health, safety and wellbeing of our clients and the SFS Team very seriously. We know that many of you are really keen to get back to a better fitness routine and we want to assure you that you will be able to do so with full social distancing in a clean and safe environment. We feel positive about our plan and can’t wait to see you where you belong at SF Studios.
Safe Exercise
We have a comprehensive health, safety and cleaning plan in place to ensure the safety of our clients and the SFS Team, while maximising the opportunity for our clients to return to fitness.
We will be increasing the frequency of cleaning in all areas of the studio and toilets as well as anything that is commonly touched (e.g. door handles and equipment). We are providing our team with personal protective equipment including face masks. We are also providing clients with hand sanitiser readily available at the entrance and in each room.
Golden Rules
We want to keep our clients as safe as possible, so we have created a new set of guidelines for using the studio. There are four golden rules:
Stay home if you’re unwell. Please don’t come to the studio, if you feel sick or have COVID-19 symptoms.
Stay 2m away from other clients.
Wash your hands regularly and thoroughly.
Clean your workout space and equipment after use.
If we all work together as a community, we can still get the feel-good factor and feel safe and full at the same time
How you can keep yourself and others safe
To keep our studio as safe and clean as possible, we need your help too. We ask that you follow our golden rules as well as a few simple other rules when you visit our studio.
Before coming to SF Studios:
Bring your own mat and equipment if you have any plus don’t forget to bring your own water bottle
Arrive ready to work out. Please come in your workout gear to avoiding using the changing rooms. We advise against wearing face masks as these can hinder your breathing while exercising, and gloves aren’t recommended as they can’t easily be cleaned – please use the hand sanitiser provided instead.
Travel light. We won’t have as many lockers available as usual, so please think about how much you’re bringing with you.
Always pre-book for all classes and appointments. You can do this using MindBody Online or our branded app.
All sessions must be paid in advance, as we are not accepting any kind of payments at the front desk until further notice.
While you’re at the Studio
Use hand sanitising stations. You’ll find these before you reach reception and throughout the studio. Make sure you wash your hands and sanitise if you use the bathroom. We encourage all our clients not to use the studio bathrooms.
Try to arrive no more than 5 minutes early and follow the social distancing rules while you’re waiting for your appointment. When the session finishes, please leave the studio as quickly as possible.
Follow the social distancing signs. Keep to the one-way system and try to stay at least 2 metres from others as much as possible.
Clean your equipment and mats. You can do this before and after use with the wipe pods around the studio.
If you’re not ready to come back just yet
Online workouts. Don’t forget, you can also have your private sessions online (Zoom).
Controlling Capacity
We have developed new layouts with the right spacing and equipment in use to ensure we can maintain safe social distancing. We are also limiting the number of clients who are allowed in the studio at the same time.
We are asking all our clients to book a slot via our updated booking system. (MindBody and our branded app)
All these measures will ensure that our studio won’t be overcrowded and all our clients feel looked after, happy, and safe.
