What’s your challenge?

In every workout you should do something you enjoy, but also something which challenges you. You might have your personal challenges – are they cardiovascular? Or flexibility and mobility challenges? 

As a teacher, Suz needs to harness attention, to stop us moving out of position when things get tough and to keep us engaged in the space when things get uncomfortable. Each client has their personal level and it’s her job to keep everyone challenged but focused, to push our bodies just the right amount but then to ease off. To her, the group dynamic is important.  It’s normal to be self conscious at the outset but once you get used to the class, the fun can come out and movement and exercise can become more spontaneous.
