We’re hanging!

It’s not often we get to hang like apes but the benefits are amazing!  If you can’t get into the studio, you can always find the branch of a tree…

We were constructed like apes but it’s not often we get the chance to swing from branch to branch through the trees.  Hanging gives the shoulder a chance to be treated as it should be; it gives the tissues a chance to stretch out and creates space to prevent injury.  It’s also a brilliant antidote to many of the ‘pushing’ activities that we spend our time doing, and concentrates on us pulling and holding instead.  Not only does the shoulder unlock but the arm muscles get a work out, the core gets a chance to engage – and of course you get to feel satisfied after such an endurance test!
